Maids of the Mill are a friendly group of local women who get together every year to develop a dance which is performed during the Milford May Day procession.
The dance is based on traditional Morris Dance, but is anything but traditional.
Recent dances have been on themes as diverse as Pirates and Mermaids, Weather, Dr. Who and the Daleks, and the Olympics…
They like to make our audience laugh!
They usually have 5 or 6 weekly practice sessions before the May Day, and also occasional social meetings at the Holly Bush throughout the year.
They always welcome new members.
