Church In Need

Holy Trinity Church would like to thank everyone who has helped with its fundraising.  £1,000 from its first appeal has already enabled urgent work to be carried out.

However, the church is now seeking another £10,000 for badly-needed wiring and relighting.  Whilst grants are being sought, the support of the local community would be welcomed.

As The Revd David Railton points out, the wiring and lighting is in a poor state of repair and it needs replacing as a matter of urgency as insurance implications could prevent services being held in the church.

Cheques can be sent (made payable to Milford PCC) to the following address: The Revd. David Railton, Vicar of Hazelwood with Shottle, Holbrook and Milford, The Vicarage, Hob Hill, Hazelwood DE56 4AL.  If you are a taxpayer, please indicate whether you would like the donation to be gift aided, allowing the PCC to claim back the tax from the government.

‘Remember this is your parish church,’ says David; ‘its future viability depends on you – not just in raising these funds but through your support week by week at services and events.’
