Duffield Singers, a community choir from our neighbouring village, will be performing at Holy Trinity Church on Friday, October 9, 7.30 pm.
The Singers promise a highly diverse programme. Comprised of all ages, they sing choral, world, folk, jazz, gospel, songs from the shows and even works composed specially for them.
As Musical Director Dana de Waal states: ‘We like to think our singers uplift and raise the spirits. There’s something magical about a mix of voices singing in harmony and we always bring a varied repertoire which appeals to all tastes.’
Admission is £7 (which includes a free glass of wine or soft drink), available from King William IV, The Village Store, The Grapes in Belper and Cyn Varney of Duffield Squash Club. You can also pay on the door.
