Milford man gets Lego model recognition

Artist Jon Tordoff of Milford has made a 100 sq ft model of the Lake District out of Lego which has been featured on the BBC. The model, which started as a replica of Buttermere, has nearly doubled in size since it was last displayed. It was displayed in The King William at Easter time in 2022. Jon began making it during the pandemic but has carried on because he found it relaxing.

The new, larger, model is due to go on show at Belper Library in the new year. For more detail, see the BBC article here.
