Rain on our parade… again!
There was a distinct feeling of deja vu about this year’s May Day. As with last year, the celebrations began in the sunshine with an ominous forecast of heavy showers at some point.
Unluckily, the heavens opened just as the participants paraded up to the New Inn – a wet and weird facsimile of last year’s event.
However, apart from another shower later at the school – albeit a brief one – this May Day event was enjoyed by all who turned out showing once again that community spirit is alive and well in Milford & Makeney.
