Milford & Makeney WI is starting up again, and has a programme of events running into the Autumn, see below. They meet on the first Monday of the month at the Duffield Baptist Church, 2pm to 4pm.
The first meeting is a talk by Tony Waldron “Dolly Shepherd an Edwardian Balloon Parachutist” on Monday 6th September.
Monday 4th October they will be having a social afternoon, with games, quizzes and cake.
Monday 1st November Ann Pocklington will talk about the Navaho American Indians
Monday 6th December Gary Johnson will give a talk on Classical Jazz Singers.
