The Christmas Fayre was held in The King William on Sunday 23rd November with all proceeds going to Bridge View Allotments to help with their upkeep.
There were stalls selling home baked cakes and pastries, jams and pickles, and handicrafts. There was a children’s Christmas crafting table, a raffle, and teas, coffees and bacon cobs provided by The King William.
The pictures below show some of the stalls just before the fayre opened.

The inside of the pub was decorated for Christmas and allotment holders Rob Lennox and Gary Johnstone sang festive songs to add to the atmosphere, as can be seen in this clip on Facebook.
It was very well attended and a huge success, with close to £600 raised and the organisers would like to give sincere thanks to all those who attended, all those who volunteered on the day and donated produce and The King William for hosting the event and their generous provision of hot drinks and bacon cobs.
