The King William in Milford, run by Dave Sutton is a defiantly traditional, atmospheric, beam-ceilinged tavern.
It offers, in Dave’s words, good beer and lovely ambience in a cosy, comfortable and convivial old-fashioned drinkers’ pub.’
As with the Holly Bush, there is always a wide selection of real ales, with a beer festival in April.
Mondays are popular with live music and Wednesdays are regularly heaving with locals for its highly regarded pub quiz, run by Ceri who is not only perfect but is also Welsh.
There are also three cosy en-suite rooms available for overnight accommodation.
