King William

09 SeptemberThe King William in Milford, a real ale free house on the junction of the A6 /Derby Road and Makeney Road, has been part of the fabric of Milford  for many years. Housed in a stone-built Georgian building at the foot of millstone grit cliffs, it offers a cosy interior and a wood-burning stove. It has recently changed hands and new landlord Dan has expanded the number of regular activities and is very keen for the pub to become central to the local community by supporting and hosting community events.

As well as the live music on Mondays and Quiz on Wednesdays that have always taken place, there are now themed food nights, with Pizza on Thursdays and a monthly gourmet evening (booking in advance essential). The pub now also offers breakfasts on Fridays and Saturdays and Sunday lunches. There are also regular Knit & Sew groups.
