The Strutts North Mill run monthly historical guided walking tours in the Belper area, and there are usually several covering Milford in any year. In 2021 there are two, on the 6/6/21 entitled “Milford Mills & Industrial Remains” and on 11/7/21 entitled “Milford’s West Side”, led by Milford resident Jane Whitaker. Whilst on the subject of Milford history, the History section of our own website has recently been updated to include links to all the other historical pages and archives in the website. On the memories page, a detailed account by Caroline Bott of the wedding of two ancestors of hers, both residents of Milford, in Milford in 1907 has now been added. This gives a fascinating snapshot into Edwardian life in the village.
