Starting Monday, October 28th – LIFE IN EARLY 20th CENTURY MILFORD
Seen through the lives of local people, this exhibition discovers what life in Milford was like and how it changed from 1900 to the 1950s.
Venue: Just-Ice (former cafe/store), Derby Rd.

Saturday, October 26th – MILFORD VILLAGE WALK – 10 am to 12 noon
A great opportunity to discover the rich history of this Strutt-built village, including a walk around the water management system that remains following the mill demolitions of 1964, and a visit to the millworkers’ terraced housing.
This is a guided walk of around 1.5 miles around the village, led by Heather Eaton. It starts at Milford Hydro, next to Soi Kitchens. Booking advised on 01629 536831.
Saturday, October 26th – PUTTING THE MILL BACK INTO MILFORD – 12.30 – 3.30 pm
This is fun participatory event with a range of creative activities including letterpress printing, LED kits, postcard making… and cake eating!
